Welcome to Akita Answers. My name is James Jones and I’m a self confessed Akita nut. My Akita passion has gotten so crazy that my friends took notice and it seems like a lot of phone calls these days start off with…. "Hey my friend (or co worker, neighbor etc.) is thinking about getting an Akita…. she’s got a question about….etc. etc." So after fielding some of these types of questions I decided to put this site together to help out more people that are interested in my personal favorite dog breed.

Now I freely admit.. I’m no professionally trained dog guru whisperer guy or whatever it’s called…. but I am the guy that people are always commenting to their friends about after they witness my well behaved and groomed Akitas. I’ve been around the breed so long that I figured out a few things here and there! So hopefully you’ll be able to pick up a few tips tricks and resources if you’re either thinking about getting or already own an Akita.
