Phillip — I wouldn't call Akitas hard to train, but you need to make sure you educate yourself about the breed before you get one. Talk to some experts, do some research online (AkitasdeMcLeod, right here on YouTube, is an excellent resource) and learn about the Akita. Akitas are actually easy to train because they're so intelligent, but that intelligence can also crossover into stubbornness…and even arrogance. Feel free to message me for more info.
