uh just to let you know, i have a dog already and im looking for a new one, Shiba Inus and Japanese Akitas are the type i want because they are the way they are.

I have a 3 yr old japanese akita and when we bought him the woman said they malt twice a year and you can basically take him to a field and pull it out. well, whenever we pull it out, he obviously gets angry and barks/snaps and this means he is CONSTANTLY malting near enough all year round. He also doesnt do baths as he is scared of water lol.. anyone have any ideas as the hair is a nightmare as it is everywhere!!

When we first got him he would sleep right next to me and followed me everywhere then all of a sudden he stopped and when I call him he just looks at me. What can I do to have him listen to me? When i got my akita it had a grey tooth. The breeder told me it was a dead tooth and would eventually fall out. He's 3 months old now and it still looks the same. What can I do? IF it falls out will a new tooth grow in?
