akitas are sweet, hard headed, powerful dogs. if properly socialized they are great with children. but never leave any powerful breed alone with small children, thats a terrible accident just waiting to happen.

Akitas are the best dogs ever!!! BUT dont take an akita if ur 2 nice, akitas are stubborn and will lead u instead of u leading the dog..

They don't do that because they like that. The dog was probably bullied by that kid or other kids when he/she was younger.

when i was on holiday a kid got attacked by one of those…he had loads of stiches on his face and back. it was horrible. i just watched this vid to see wat they look like. soz if this ofends anyone im not saying thier bad dogs

I have had my akita for about a year and a half now. They are beautiful dogs! Very loyal and great with the family children. Follows me everywhere. He is Brutis and plays just like this dog! LOL
