Put the dog on a long leash then get a treat in your hand make sure you dog sees that you have a treat then call he. Do this while you boyfriend is there too. Dogs are pack animals and they follow and obey the pack leader or dominant dog of the pack. I am guessing your BF is the dominant one in your relationship and the dog is picking up on this. Your BF needs to support you in training your dog. In case he is behaving like is is funny or cute when the dog ignores you, it is not. It can cause problems later. Your dog is viewing your boyfriend as the "alpha" dog of the pack.
